UP Police gets new Chiefs of zones in the second round of IPS transfers

New Delhi, December 28

The Uttar Pradesh Government issued orders of appointment for seven IPS officers while bringing in new Chiefs of the zones.

The officers were awaiting postings after the last transfers of 16 IPS officers in November.

Senior IPS officer Alok Singh who was CP Noida and transferred to DGP office has been appointed as the ADG of the Kanpur Zone while Prem Prakash who heading the Prayagraj zone has been shifted to DGP office.

Piyush Anand who was ADG GRP has been shifted to DGP office while Prem Chand Meena has been appointed as Chief of Bareilly zone.

Raj Kumar who was the ADG Bareilly zone has been appointed as ADG Logistics while Bhanu Bhaskar has been appointed as ADG Prayagraj zone.

Satish Ganesh who was the former CP of Varanasi and later shifted to DGP office has been appointed as ADG GRP.
